2K Crews HQ: Finder, Rankings, and Pro-Am for NBA 2K27 Crews

2khq.com covers general 2K27 news. 2kcrewshq.com is the sister site for Crew recruitment, rosters, rankings, and Pro-Am — distinct from 2K's official NBA 2K HQ companion app.

Editor’s note: This article is original editorial from 2khq.com, an unofficial fan site not affiliated with 2K, Take-Two Interactive, Visual Concepts, the NBA, or the WNBA. 2kcrewshq.com is also unofficial — it is not 2K’s official NBA 2K HQ companion app.

If you are hunting a Crew for NBA 2K27, three different things often get conflated. This page clarifies which site does what, what our sister Crews hub actually has live today, and where to read official Crew HQ rules we have already cited on 2khq.

Three different “HQ” things

2khq.com (this site) 2kcrewshq.com (sister site) NBA 2K HQ (2K’s official app)
Who runs it Independent fan site Independent fan site (sister to 2khq) 2K / Visual Concepts
Primary focus General 2K27 news, breakdowns, builds Crew finder, rosters, rankings, Pro-Am Mobile Builder, crew tools, daily rewards
Relationship You are here Links back to 2khq.com Covered in our official app explainer

2khq.com summarizes launch news, City changes, MyPLAYER systems, and mode updates across the whole game. 2kcrewshq.com — branded 2K Crews HQ — narrows the lens to organized Crew competition: who is recruiting, which rosters are announced, how community rankings are framed, and Pro-Am-style starting fives sourced from official reveals.

Neither website is the NBA 2K HQ companion app that launched August 21, 2026 on iOS and Android. That app is 2K’s official product for build sharing, crew management on mobile, and daily login rewards. Do not confuse the fan-site domain 2khq.com or the sister 2kcrewshq.com with 2K’s app branding.

What 2kcrewshq.com has live (verified Aug 26, 2026)

We checked 2kcrewshq.com directly. Below is what is actually on the site today — not a wishlist of future features.

Home and navigation

The homepage title reads “2K Crews HQ — NBA 2K27 Crews News, Finder & Rankings” with sections for news, recruitment, rosters, rankings, and Pro-Am. Primary nav links:

Live news articles

2K Crews HQ already publishes cited Crew-focused explainers. Read them on their site — we are not reproducing those bodies here:

Crew Finder (LFP from X)

The Finder aggregates looking-for-player (LFP) posts sourced from X. Listings show platform, region, timezone, playstyle tags, and links back to the original posts — useful when you want to verify who posted a recruitment thread before you DM a GM.

Crews pages (announced rosters)

Crews tracks announced 2K27 rosters from official X reveals — teams like Invigor Alliance, Final Warning, and Helsinki Assassins appear with preseason status. Pages note when a roster is announced but no ranked record exists yet, which matches the pre-launch reality of Early Access week.

Rankings (honest preseason state)

Rankings splits leaderboards by Crew game mode. The site is transparent that example-crew leaderboards populate some tables for UI demonstration, while announced rosters have no live win-loss records yet. Do not treat preseason standings as verified competitive results — 2K Crews HQ says that plainly, and we echo it here.

Pro-Am lineups

Pro-Am lists announced starting fives from official X roster reveals — sourced lineup cards, not invented sample stats.

Official Crew HQ facts (already on 2khq — cited)

2K Crews HQ covers community recruitment and preseason roster tracking. For in-game Crew HQ rules confirmed by 2K, use our existing cited articles:

Team hub and ranked structure

Our co-ed City Courtside Report breaks down Crew HQ as a team hub — a MyCOURT counterpart with voice chat, half-court and full-court setups for 1v1 through 5v5, six Ranked Crew Game tiers leading to end-of-season divisional tournaments, and Crew progression launching at 40 levels with +5 levels per season starting in Season 2.

Discord Q&A: matchmaking, CXP, roster penalties

The August 22 City & Crew Discord Q&A adds operational detail from official NBA 2K Discord posts:

  • Private matchmaking in Crew HQ can invite players from other Crews or players not in any Crew.
  • The Crew leaderboard shifts from 2K26’s win-based board to Seasonal Crew XP (CXP).
  • Kicking a member reduces total CXP by that player’s contribution; voluntary leaves do not penalize the Crew.

We are not inventing new ranked or Pro-Am specifications beyond what those sources state.

Season 1 2XREP — Crew Divisions only

Season 1 Early Access rewards confirms Crew Divisions in Crew HQ as one of six modes eligible for 2XREP Weekends during Season 1. That Newsroom post does not extend double REP to every Crew HQ activity or add new ranked rules — it names Crew Divisions specifically among eligible modes.

When to use which site

  • General 2K27 news (builder changes, MyCAREER, launch dates, City-wide updates) → stay on 2khq.com.
  • Find a Crew, browse LFP posts, track announced rosters, preseason rankings UI, Pro-Am lineup cards → use 2kcrewshq.com and the Finder.
  • Official mobile app (Builder, crew management on phone, daily rewards) → 2K’s NBA 2K HQ app; see our app vs. website distinction.

2K Crews HQ already links back to 2khq.com for broader coverage. We return the favor by pointing Crew-focused readers to their hub instead of duplicating Finder listings here.
